This page provides some teaching resources that aren't specific to a particular Unit of the course.

  • Exam_Info.pdf - These are the pages I include at the front of each exam. They provide instructions on how to answer questions that involve numerical solution along with most of the important equations for the course. I encourage my students to print (and even laminate) these pages and to use them when working on problems either in class or for a homework assignment.
  • Alternative_Problem_Solving_Plans.pdf - Most of the lesson plans provided with the Units for problem-solving activities use a format where the students sit at their desks and work on the problems. This document describes some alternative ways for conducting problem solving activities.
